Emergency Evacuation Plan

Guest Safety

Important Guest Information

We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel. As the building operates without on-site

staff, it is very important that all guests are familiar with the emergency evacuation

arrangements before arrival. Please read the information below carefully and keep it in mind

during your stay.

What To Do If You Discover a Fire

If you discover a fire or see signs of fire (such as smoke or burning smells):

  • Immediately activate the fire alarm by pressing the fire alarm call point (located at each exit and at each end of the 1 st floor corridor).
  • This will alert all guests in the building and automatically notify emergency services.
  • Do not attempt to investigate the fire further or put yourself at risk.

What To Do If You Hear the Fire Alarm

If the fire alarm sounds at any time, whether you can see a fire or not:

  • Leave the building immediately.
  • Follow the nearest clearly marked fire exit route.
  • Do not stop to collect personal belongings.
  • Remain calm and assist others only if it is safe to do so.
  • Refer to the below Fire Exit Route Map to familiarise yourself with the exit routes in advance.

Assembly Point

Once you have exited the building:

  • Proceed directly to the designated fire assembly point, which is located on the paved area by the car park.
  • Remain at the assembly point and keep clear of the building.
  • Stay there until the Fire Service arrive and provide further instructions.
  • Do not re-enter the building for any reason until emergency services confirm it is safe to do so.

Important Information

  • The hotel is unmanned, therefore there will be no staff on site to coordinate an evacuation.
  • Activation of the fire alarm automatically alerts the emergency services.
  • If it is safe to do so, you may also contact emergency services by dialling 999.
  • Your cooperation is essential to ensure everyone’s safety.
